Morocco v Iran Betting Tips, Odds & Preview
Stalemate on the Cards in Group B Opener
16 June 2018, 1am AEST
Carlos Queiroz is one of the longest serving managers heading to Russia. The former Real Madrid manager has already overseen one World Cup campaign in charge of Iran and he’ll be employing the same defensive first approach we saw from Iran in Brazil despite falling out with his bosses recently. Morocco will be a little more forward thinking than Iran but they lack any real classy options up front so this looks set to be a low scoring draw, either 0-0 or 1-1.
Head to Head
Iran and Morocco have met twice before over the years. Iran came out on top on both occasions although they did require penalties to win their most recent encounter in 2002.
