Players to Watch
Paolo Guerrero can count himself very fortunate to be playing in the World Cup. The 34-year-old had a drugs ban cut down to just six months and is ready to take full advantage in Russia. The Socceroos must be on their guard against Guerrero but they’ll also have to shut down any space afforded to the Peru playmaker, Christian Cueva. Van Marwijk has big decisions to make in an attacking sense but he’ll be delighted with Tom Rogic’s end of season form and the Celtic forward has a big role to play for his country.
