Liverpool v Chelsea Betting Offers and Tips
The standout game of the EPL this weekend comes at Anfield where Liverpool host Chelsea in a fixture that is always keenly contested.
Despite being separated by over 200 miles, there is a fierce rivalry between these two clubs which really took off in the early part of the century as they regularly did battle in big games on both the domestic and European stage.
Chelsea have had the edge in terms of trophies won in recent years but it’s Liverpool who have had the better of their last meetings with no defeats in the five latest instalments of this rivalry.
With both teams coming off the back of impressive wins last weekend, everything is set up for what will hopefully be one of the most entertaining games of the Premier League season so far.
Some common themes have run through Jurgen Klopp’s time in charge at Liverpool. The team generally play the same high tempo, high pressing, all action football that was so successful for Klopp in Germany.
On the downside, Liverpool have given away far too many soft goals, especially from free-kicks and corners.
The Reds have already conceded 17 goals this season but only one of those came at Anfield. Liverpool are unbeaten so far at home and will be confident of another big performance in front of their own fans.
Chelsea, too, are growing in confidence. Antonio Conte has had to put up with constant rumours about his future in West London but there’s no doubt that he remains committed to picking up wins.
He’s recently tinkered Chelsea’s shape to get the best out of Cesc Fabregas in midfield and create a forward partnership between Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard.
The Blues were far too good for West Brom last Saturday and will pose Liverpool problems at Anfield.
This is an intriguing game which could go either way. We’re expecting chances for both teams but for the spoils to ultimately be shared so back the draw at $3.60 with Unibet.

Look to Profit from Goals for Both Teams
Klopp and Conte have been focussing on their defences recently to reduce the problems their teams have had in defence. However, it’s their attacking prowess which has really caught the eye.
Both managers have world class attacking players to call on and a shape which gets the best out of them.
There’s no doubt that both teams will have chances at Anfield and we think they’ll be able to take one or two of them each.
To try and profit from this attacking style of play, have a bet on over 2.5 goals which is $1.71 with Palmerbet.
You should also consider a play in the correct score market where the 2-2 draw represents a tempting option at $13 with Bet365.
Salah to Prove His Ability to Chelsea
Chelsea have a strange transfer policy to say the least. The West London club spend a lot of time and money scouting the world for the best young talent and then go out and sign them. But very few of them ever make the grade and play for Chelsea.
Over the years the Blues have let go of Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah. The latter has a chance to prove to Chelsea that they were wrong to sell him to Roma on Saturday.
Salah only ever really shone in fits and spurts for Chelsea but he improved a lot in Italy and already has nine Premier League goals since signing for Liverpool in the summer.
His pace will be a major problem for the Chelsea defence so make sure to back Salah to score at $2.70 with Sportsbet.
