Arsenal v Tottenham Betting Offers and Tips
The Premier League wastes no time this weekend as the domestic action resumes after the international break. The North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham gets the action underway with neutrals hoping for another entertaining instalment of this incredibly heated fixture.
This is the first game that fans of Arsenal and Tottenham look out for when the fixture list is announced but Saturday’s encounter feels especially important.
There is a feeling around both clubs that they are moving in decidedly different directions and a win for Spurs would only hammer than message home.
However, Arsenal remain a top-quality team even after a convincing defeat against Man City. They have great memories of the North London Derby so have every chance of boosting their morale with another big win against their nearest and fiercest rivals.

Tough to Separate These Two at the Emirates
Tottenham’s ascendancy in both English and European football has played itself out in recent derby encounters with Arsenal. The Gunners have not beaten Spurs in the Premier League since March 2014 (they did win a League Cup match in February 2015) but you have to go back to November 2010 for the last time that Spurs were successful at the Emirates.
Arsenal always raise their game for the visit of Tottenham, their fans put up with a lot over the last 10 years but they’d never accept a lack of effort against Spurs. Couple that with Arsenal’s decent form which includes a perfect record of five wins from five home league games and it’s tough to imagine Arsene Wenger’s team getting beaten.
However, Tottenham are every bit as difficult to beat.
The only teams to get the better of Mauricio Pochettino’s men this season are Man Utd and Chelsea. Both of those defeats came in close games where things could have very easily been different.
With Spurs still full of confidence after their recent 3-1 win over Real Madrid, they should be able to leave the Emirates with a point which makes the draw look well priced at $3.60 with Centrebet.
Nerves and Defensive Organisation to Put a Premium on Chances
The way that Tottenham are able to turn defence into attack with just a couple of passes has been a joy to watch for neutrals since Pochettino took over at the club. However, their ability to move forward quickly would be for nothing without their incredibly strong defence.
Spurs have some of the best defenders in the league and when they combine with their world class midfield, they present a very difficult puzzle to unpick.
Arsenal’s defence is much less secure than Tottenham’s but they’ve looked better since employing three centre-backs and will be desperate not to give anything away in the derby.
Chances and goals could be hard to come by on a cold London afternoon so a bet on under 2.5 goals looks well worth taking at $2.30 with William Hill.
Another tempting option is the $7 that Palmerbet are quoting on the 1-1 correct score.
Kane to Return to Haunt Arsenal Once Again
Tottenham fans love to chant about Harry Kane being “one of our own” but the England striker actually played in the youth ranks for Arsenal long before joining Spurs.
Having used photos of Kane in the red of Arsenal to wind up their opponents, Gunners’ fans now shy away from such tactics as it reminds them of the player they let go.
Kane has relished scoring against Arsenal in the past and is good value to score against them once again at $2 with Unibet.
