Golden States Warriors VS Boston Celtics - NBA - Betting Tips 06-03-2019
Celtics Can Beat Warriors if They’re Good Enough
Golden State may be number one in the West, but they are far more vulnerable than their number one seeding would suggest. The Warriors scraped past a Philadelphia 76ers side that was missing Joel Embid on Sunday, giving them a 2-2 record on their Eastern road trip. The Warriors are 23-8 at Oracle Arena this season, but have lost at home to three of the top four teams in the East: Milwaukee, Toronto, and Philly.
Boston don’t appear to have overcome the structural issues that have caused them to struggle in the new year. They lost 115-111 to the Warriors on their home court on January 27 despite 32 points from Kyrie Irving. There’s no doubt the Celtics are a talented line-up, but they haven’t been able to put it together as a team. A couple more losses and any chance of home court advantage in the first round of the NBA playoffs will disappear.
Warriors v Celtics Betting Tips
Boston have lost two of their past four games against teams headed for the playoffs (Houston, Toronto, Portland, and Milwaukee). On two of those occasions, they’ve lost by double-digit margins: to Houston by 11 and Toronto by 23. Bet365 has set the line at 9 points, and the Warriors are in a good position to beat that.
At the very least, the Warriors look like a safe bet in head-to-head betting. Neds is paying 1.25 for Golden State to defeat Boston.
