Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets - NBA - Betting Tips 01-05-2019
Golden State Warriors v Houston Rockets Game 2 Preview
Golden State scraped through 104-100 in game one. They’ll need to win game two at Oracle Arena at 12:30 pm on Wednesday if they’re to hold on to home advantage before the series head to Houston for two games.
For all the stars on both teams, much of the attention in game two will focus not on the Warriors and Rockets but on the referees. Golden State’s defence crowded Houston beyond the 3-point line in game one, and Houston pursued their usual strategy of harassing defenders beyond the arc.
The referees called 46 personal fouls and four technical fouls and ejected the Rockets’ Chris Paul with just 4.4 seconds left in game one. Adding to the confusion, the refs didn’t make a call when Draymond Green committed a possible foul on Rockets’ MVP candidate James Harden beyond the 3-point arc with 10 seconds left.

Golden State Warriors v Houston Rockets Betting Tips
The controversial referee involvement will make for a fascinating game two. Will the refs call more fouls on both sides or will they forget the whistle? Game two is sure to be a fascinating battle, with neither side prepared to give the other an inch in a high-stakes playoff series with NBA title repercussions. We’re betting on the Warriors in game two. They’re paying 1.41 at bet365 or 1.90 with a -5.5 points handicap.
The league has to decide call all of them or none.. if they stop calling them players will adjust! Problem is they been calling them the WHOLE season https://t.co/R60IW82zLn— Jared Dudley (@JaredDudley619) April 28, 2019
In such a high-scoring season, it was surprising to see the Warriors and Rockets fail to beat the over/under in game one. We think the second match will be a higher-scoring affair that surpasses Neds’ over/under of 218 points, paying out 1.94.
